Romance Bali Day 1: 10th of Nov 2011

Thanks to F&N contest, I have won 3D2N trips to Bali with accomodations, water rafting with lunch included package. On 10th of Nov 2011, we boarded Malaysia Airlines and begun our journey to Bali.

Flight meals were included, two choice were given Spicy chicken and Pan fried fish.

Upon arrival at airport, we were greeted by local tour agent driver from SaSa tour and brought to Flora Beach Kuta hotel at Kuta area. Later, we hired the driver to Tanah Lots for sunset view which started 6:15pm.

Unexpectedly, the road was so jam in Kuta area but we managed to reach Tanah Lots before the sunset.. still considered lucky to see the beautifulness of Tanah lots sunset. Tanah Lot Sunset is the most spectacular view of tourist destination in west part of Bali with sun down goes to the earth stomach .

The temple Pura Tanah Lot, simple in its construction, is dramatic in its ocean-front location and is one of the main temples in the worship of Balinese gods. It is advisable to avoid the tourist crush here as it can be severe. Our first Sunset view in Bali- Tanah Lots. Lots of corns stall opened at night, try out one of them.

Our journey continue with dinner at a local Balinese restaurant name Sendoknearby our hotel, Flora Beach Hotel Kuta. Two meals were ordered, Nasi Campur and Nasi Goreng; the food was suprisingly tasty and yummy. Their menu carries a range of delicious traditional and authentic Balinese specialties and also many refined European and International favorites. Serving European and Asian cuisine.

The nightlife scene in Kuta usually starts late – around 23:00 to midnight with bars and pubs offering different atmospheres and types of entertainment.

Some clubs and bars showcase live bands, DJs, sexy dancers and ‘fashion shows’. Price wise, compared to the nightlife places in Seminyak, partying the night away in Kuta is way cheaper.
