KL Get Away : Ri-Yaz Heritage Day 2

Today is the second day in the resorts, moved to another room Executive Suites which cost around RM600++ per night. As it's complimentary room, no breakfast included..From the menu booklet, continental breakfast cost RM35 per pax, a bit expensive.

From last night stay, learnt a lesson to not open the balcony door during day time else will have nightmare getting bite by mosquito. Was awake few times last night by mosquito, not getting enough sleep.
The resort has a mini cinema located at the ground level of the main lobby block. It's free & movie list will change daily.

The remaining still the same with free two complimentary water bottles, iron board, iron, slipper.
This place is quite, serenity; suitable for those who needs a break from the city life. Also, this resort suitable for weekend family gateway & romantic escape. But, would like remind to bring some snacks or bread on owns as the food is a bit expensive. Bear in mind also, this resorts is 10 minutes away from Kuala Terengganu town & airport, nearby there's no hawker stall or shop lots available. Dinner can be settle in resorts hotel or in KT town or Pulau Duyung town.
After staying a night at deluxe room; walk around the resorts, personally I this resorts can be rated as 3 star hotel. Most of the chalets looks a bit old and the surrounding was not maintain properly. Didn't see much colorful flowers.

Differences between today; yesterday room was executive suites has its own living room. Living room & bedroom are seperated, bathroom is attached with bedroom having bath tub & shower bath area.

Bed size is the same but a bit short for people who's tall LOL.

Opposite of the resorts from river, not to be missed the opportunity visit one of the famous landmark in KT, Masjid Tengku Tengah Zaharah(Floating mosque ). During the high tide, the water rises covering the foundation, thus creates illusions of floating mosque.

Taxi to town from resorts cost RM20 per way. We went China town for lunch & dinner. Had the steam lekor & clay pot pork for lunch.the claypot rice is soft & the pork given was belly pork. Good combination. A must try if come over to China town.
China town, most of the pre- war buildings are listed under UNESCO's World Monument watch program.
Later we walked around China town & along the street ; you may see lots of old historical shop lots.some alley is worth to visit such as Turtle alley which provides lots of information on how to preserve turtles & advises on not to buy turtle egg which can be found in Pasar Payang.
Pasar Payang, one of the local market which you can lots of local food for souvenir, keropok lekor & etc.
