Motherhood journey: Part 2: Hospital checklist for delivery

For every newbies mother must be wondering what should be the items to pack for delivery in hospital or confinement center. For me, i have been searching around but mostly all are those common items but in the end i felt that it's not required at all.

So, to start on here are the check list you should have consider to bring along and be ready in your car:

Mother:

1. A changing cloth when go home

2. Shoes

3. Cap/Hat

4. Power bank and charging cable

5. A pair of socks to wear after deliver

6. maternity pad after deliver (bring own else the one provided by hospital is expensive)

7. Disposable maternity panties (recommended for c-zer - LUNAVIE DISPOSABLE MATERNITY PANTIES 5PCS/PACK)

8. Red Date water

9. Zhui Feng So Hup Pills (twice a day morning and night will help get rid of the winds)

10. Supplements new obimin/multivitamin for pregnancy and calcium

Baby:

1. Changing cloths recommended jumper

2. mittens and booties ( one pair)

3. swaddle (preferable size of 120X120)

4. Infant formula milk (just incase breastfeed milk yet available).

Father:

1. Power bank

2. Laptop for work if you required

3. Hospital document such as admission letter, sugar level test result, blood test result (which included HIV test else blood test will be required to take again). If the gynae doctor for check up not based in the hospital for deliver please bring along these documents.

4. Credit card/ cash for payments

5. Blanket for overnight

The above items are sufficient for hospital checklist and good luck to your delivery!!
